Iva Hauber runs a design practice that rests on synergy between product, installation and spatial design with a strong focus on materiality.  With her eye keen on detail, she experiments with creative processes, challenging our sense of the unexpected.

Since her graduation from the Royal College of Art under Tord Boontje in 2011, Iva has been working in various fields, both as an independent design researcher and as a design tutor in the area of design thinking and problem solving.

Her work is mainly driven by curiosity and the thrill of the unknown, where her hands-on approach as well as the experimentation with conventional manufacturing processes are placed at the core of her design practice.  Her fascination with collecting drives her towards questioning the special connections we build with objects and spaces, resulting in the creation of unique experiences that transcend ordinary terms of living.
